Everything you need to know to get started with Numeraloop

Quick Start Guide

Before you begin:

  • You need an active Twilio account
  • At least one Twilio phone number
  • Your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token

Create Your Account

Sign up at Numeraloop.com/signup with your email and password.

Choose Your Package

Select the package that matches your needs (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise). Start with a 3-day free trial.

Connect Twilio

Enter your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token in the dashboard settings.

Add Phone Numbers

Click "Connect Number" and select from your existing Twilio phone numbers.

Account Setup

After creating your account, complete your profile in the dashboard:

  • Profile Information: Add your name and contact details
  • Billing: Add payment method for when trial ends
  • Notifications: Configure email alerts for activity

Getting Your Twilio Credentials

Step 1: Log into Twilio Console

Go to console.twilio.com and sign in to your account.

Step 2: Find Your Credentials

On your Twilio Console dashboard, you'll see:

  • Account SID: Starts with "AC" followed by 32 characters
  • Auth Token: A 32-character string (click "View" to reveal)

Step 3: Add to Numeraloop

In your Numeraloop dashboard, go to Settings → Twilio Credentials and paste both values. Click "Save & Connect" to link your account.

Security Note:

Your Twilio credentials are encrypted and stored securely. We never share them with third parties. You can disconnect your Twilio account at any time.

Connecting a Phone Number

Prerequisites

  • Twilio credentials configured
  • Active Twilio phone number
  • Available slot in your package

Connection Steps

  1. 1. Navigate to Dashboard → Numbers
  2. 2. Click "Connect Number" button
  3. 3. Select a number from your Twilio account
  4. 4. Give it a friendly name (optional)
  5. 5. Click "Connect" to complete setup

Numeraloop will automatically configure the necessary webhooks on your Twilio number. This allows us to forward calls and SMS to your specified destinations.

Setting Up Call & SMS Forwarding

Call Forwarding

Forward incoming calls to any phone number:

  1. Go to Numbers → Select your number
  2. Enable "Call Forwarding"
  3. Enter destination phone number (include country code)
  4. Save settings

SMS Forwarding

Forward incoming text messages to any phone number:

  1. Go to Numbers → Select your number
  2. Enable "SMS Forwarding"
  3. Enter destination phone number (include country code)
  4. Save settings

Pro Tip:

You can forward to different numbers for calls and SMS. For example, forward calls to your mobile and SMS to a team number.

Using the Browser Dialer

Make outbound calls directly from your browser using your connected Twilio numbers.

How to Make a Call

  1. 1. Navigate to the Dialer page
  2. 2. Select which Twilio number to call from
  3. 3. Enter the destination number
  4. 4. Click "Call" to start
  5. 5. Use controls to mute, hold, or end call

Browser Requirements:

  • • Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions)
  • • Microphone access enabled
  • • Stable internet connection

Activity Logs

Monitor all calls and SMS activity across your connected numbers.

What's Tracked:

  • Incoming and outgoing calls
  • SMS messages sent and received
  • Timestamps and duration
  • From/To numbers
  • Forwarding status

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Calls Not Forwarding

If calls aren't being forwarded:

  • • Verify call forwarding is enabled in number settings
  • • Check that destination number includes country code (e.g., +1)
  • • Ensure your Twilio account has sufficient balance
  • • Verify webhooks are configured (reconnect number if needed)

SMS Not Forwarding

If SMS messages aren't being forwarded:

  • • Verify SMS forwarding is enabled in number settings
  • • Check that destination number is SMS-capable
  • • Ensure destination number includes country code
  • • Check Twilio account balance and SMS limits

Browser Dialer Not Working

If the dialer doesn't work:

  • • Allow microphone access in browser settings
  • • Use a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • • Check your internet connection
  • • Verify Twilio credentials are still valid
  • • Try refreshing the page

Can't Connect Twilio Account

If you can't connect your Twilio account:

  • • Double-check Account SID and Auth Token are correct
  • • Ensure credentials are from your main Twilio account (not subaccount)
  • • Verify Auth Token hasn't been regenerated recently
  • • Check that your Twilio account is active

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Twilio account?

Yes, Numeraloop works with your existing Twilio account and phone numbers. If you don't have one, you can sign up at twilio.com.

Will this affect my Twilio billing?

Twilio charges are separate from Numeraloop. You'll still be billed by Twilio for call minutes, SMS messages, and phone number rentals as usual.

Can I disconnect my Twilio account?

Yes, you can disconnect your Twilio account at any time from Settings. This will remove all webhooks and stop forwarding.

What happens to my Twilio numbers?

Your Twilio numbers remain in your Twilio account. Numeraloop only manages the forwarding configuration. You maintain full ownership and control.

Is my data secure?

Yes, all credentials are encrypted with AES-256 encryption. We follow SOC 2 security standards and never share your data with third parties.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Your service will continue until the end of your billing period.
